The Gardens

The Year 2/3 children at The Gardens School had so much fun at the farm! Thank you very much for the wonderful opportunity and for funding our trip. Lynette at the Gallagher farm has been absolutely amazing! The trip to the dairy farm tied in beautifully with our topic study for the term - Health, and Nutrition with a focus on including dairy into our daily diet.

When we came back to school the students were very excited to continue this learning and they made ice cream and butter - and turning a liquid into a solid.
